The First Team showed just what they are capable of with a fantastic 5-3 win against second place Claydon. Godbold was on fire netting four times and Dave King grabbing the fifth in the dying minutes.

Godbold may have got four but JK in the Reserves netted five times with a 6-0 win at home against Henley Athletic Reserves. Foxy grabbed the other goal which leaves the Reserves eight points clear in League A.

The A’s were unlucky in the Suffolk Primary Cup losing 3-2 at Stowupland Falcons Reserves. Cops goals were from Alan Backhouse and Kyle Steff.

Elsewhere, Cops U18 United win 3-2 at home to Sporting 87 U18 Sigma, the U15 Lions thumped seven past Felixstowe & Walton U15 and a good 4-1 win away for the U15 Tigers at Ransomes Sports. The U14 Tigers sneaked a 1-0 away at Woodbridge Town U14 White and the U12 Panthers won 3-2 at Hadleigh.

In the Junior Girls, the U15s won 3-1 against Ipswich Valley Rangers and go joint top of the league, the U13s won 8-3 at Thurston FC and an excellent 6-0 win for the U11s against Woodbridge remaining unbeaten this season.
