Cops welcomed Claydon to the Copleston Arena for their second league game of the season.
With the games only 5 mins old Cops took the lead through C King after good work from Stevens from the left.
Claydon were playing the better football and on 25 mins Wessels was forced into making a fine save from a long range shot.
Cops were finding it hard to break down a hard working Claydon and went into the break holding onto their 1 goal advantage.
The second half kicked off with Cops starting the stronger side. Fairweather and Harris were dominating the midfield and creating chances for J King and Stevens.
J King had a fine long range strike saved by the Claydon keeper who was keeping his side in the game.
Cops extended their lead on 60 mins when Huggins latched onto a ball in the box to make it 2-0.
Cops were now in total control and wrapped the game up on 75 mins when Harris found Dale who found the net from close range.
The game finished 3-0 with a much improved second half. Rooney and Thacks made some tactical changes and it came off.
Man of the Match Cameron Fairweather who put in a solid display from start to finish.
